69-72 1879-2026+St Petrock’s Almshouses. In 1877 St Petrock and Heavitree Parish Lands Charity negotiated with Magdalen Charity to purchase the plot of land to build two houses, each with two residences. They were refurbished in 2011.

- 1832Magdalen Bridge was constructed by Henry Hooper (1794-1868) who had obtained £4,000 from the city authorities to improve access to his residential development at Mount Radford. He himself lived at 6, The Crescent from about 1841 to 1861 during which period he was twice mayor of Exeter.
